The short version
Unleashed has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. Your favourites, podcasts, music library and settings stay on your device.
To play radio and podcasts it has to talk to the internet: to the stations themselves, to the directories that list them, and to a few services that find logos, covers and lyrics. The only server we run is the one that checks your Pro purchase and unlocks your computers, and it keeps as little as that job needs.
Data that stays on your device
Favourite stations, recently played stations, podcast subscriptions and listening positions, downloaded episodes, the music folder you choose, your Studio layouts, themes and every other setting are stored only in the app’s storage on your device. We have no copy of them.
A backup file you export, or a transfer you start to another device, goes only where you send it. Transfers between your own devices use your local Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth between two Android phones; they do not pass through the internet or through us.
Services Unleashed connects to
These connections are made directly from your device. Like any internet connection, each one shows the other side your IP address. We do not see these requests.

Unleashed sends none of these services anything about you beyond what is listed: no identifier, no account, no history.
Unleashed Pro and the activation server
Pro is bought through Google Play or the App Store; we never see your payment details, name or email address. To check the purchase and to unlock the desktop app, Unleashed uses our own activation server, hosted on Cloudflare. It stores:
- For a purchase: the platform, the product, the store’s order or transaction number and the purchase token, so it can check with the store that the purchase is still valid (for example after a refund).
- For each activated computer: the name the computer gives itself (such as
DESKTOP-7VL9A02), its platform, a public key the app created for it, and when it was activated and last checked in. - For the free trial: a one-way hash of an identifier of your phone, and the date of the first launch, so reinstalling does not restart the trial. The identifier itself never leaves the phone.
It does not store your IP address, what you listen to or where you are. You can ask us to delete your activation records at any time; the desktop app then needs activating again.

Children
