How we build

Small studio. Long view.

Inglyph is a one-person studio. Every app here is in daily use in my own home — and I keep polishing it until it is ready for everyone else.

CycleTrack plans my rides. Unleashed plays all day. KeepNoteNG holds my personal and business notes. JobFinder shows me each morning what is new on the job market. And Æthel has been on my phone since its very first screens.

  • No ad business.
  • No data business.
  • No growth targets.

And nothing that stops working if I stop: where an app can do without a server of mine, it does. Æthel has none at all — no server to shut down, no account to expire.

Independent

Every app is designed, built and looked after by the same independent developer — the person who reads your email is the person who fixes the bug.

Private by default

If an app can do its job on your device alone, it does. Your data is yours to keep, move and delete — not a product.

Free where it can be

Several apps, especially the desktop companions and utilities, are completely free to download and use.

Carved to last

Fewer apps, looked after for years: updates that fix and refine, not ones that chase trends.
